The Magento Open Source Merchant Documentation is LIVE!

I am incredibly proud to announce that the new Magento Open Source Documentation has officially launched at Meet Magento Netherlands 2025. This represents one of the most significant community initiatives in recent Magento history, and being part of it has been an absolute privilege.

Why Merchant Documentation Matters:

For years, the Magento community has had excellent developer documentation, but merchants - the store owners actually running businesses on Magento - were left navigating complex technical docs not written for them. This gap meant lost revenue, frustrated business owners, and a barrier to Magento adoption.

The new merchant documentation at docs.magento-opensource.com changes everything. Written specifically for store owners and administrators, it provides clear, actionable guidance for:

• Getting Started with complete store setup guides
• Start Selling with products, payments, and shipping configuration
• Manage Catalog with inventory and product optimization
• Handle Orders with fulfillment and customer management

The MMNL Launch:

Unveiling this at Meet Magento Netherlands was electric. The community response was overwhelming - finally, merchants have a resource built specifically for their needs. The tagline says it all: "Commerce begins with Community."

Building the Future with MASTRA Agentic AI:

This is just the beginning. We are actively building the next generation of documentation using MASTRA Agentic AI - intelligent, context-aware documentation that adapts to user needs. Imagine docs that understand your specific situation and guide you to exactly what you need. That future is coming.

A Personal Note:

Being part of the Magento Association Documentation Committee and contributing to this launch has been one of the highlights of my career. The Magento community gave me my start in e-commerce, and giving back through this vital resource feels right.
